We’re looking for an experienced professional to head up product development and sourcing in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll lead a passionate team, oversee the full product journey (from development to shipment), and work with top-tier vendors to deliver outstanding products on time and within budget.
 
What you’ll do:
    • Lead product development & sourcing strategy
    • Manage vendor relationships & ensure compliance
    • Oversee production planning, forecasting & delivery
    • Drive cost savings & hit key business targets
    • Coach & motivate a talented team
    • Source, develop and follow through all brand product programs placed from development to shipment according to seasonal calendars to meet customers’ requirement and needs.  
    • Develop short- and long-term sourcing strategies for respective customer groups to support the brand strategy and the business needs.  
    • Ensure contractors understand and comply with our standards, and their capabilities as well as competitiveness can meet with our sourcing needs.  
    • Monitor contractors’ performance closely with updated supplier profiles in place and periodical assessment of suppliers done properly.
    • Achieve strong customer services through quick response, effective problem solving and providing creative options as well as market intelligence.
    • Deliver products (samples and bulk) within customers’ specifications – both aesthetic and physical standards.
    • Production planning, oversight, and coordination with contract manufacturers
    • Forecasting production and supply needs, in coordination with the Merchant and Sales team
    • Perform and analysis Monthly forecasting report to ensure and maintain acceptable inventory levels
    • Need to ensure that the decision-making process is supported by technical and functional knowledge of the category and leading-edge analytical methods which encompass people, systems and financial measures
    • Manage well on cost saving and all KPIs, and work closely with Sourcing Director to monitor OPEX.
    • Provide coaching and motivation to team members and carry out a proper resources management to develop an effective and flexible team.
    • Establish partnership with customers, contractors and all team players to deliver efficient work process and product development.
    • Work on special projects as requested by management; supports all levels of department management and may participate in specific workgroups as requested
 
What we’re looking for:
    • Degree/diploma in manufacturing, sourcing, or related field
    • 10+ years in apparel sourcing/product development
    • Strong negotiation & financial skills
    • Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership
    • Great communicator & relationship builder
