Company in the Pinetown area is looking for QA Auditor
Job Summary:
To play a critical role in liaising with external CMT’s in reviewing and auditing pre-production samples and bulk production garments to ensure adherence to commercially acceptable standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
General QA
- • Assist with internal QA audits on fabric and finished garments within the warehouse.
- • Visit CMT’s in the assigned region as per the daily schedule to perform quality assurance audits on orders on the production line.
- • Complete audit reports on the relevant QA forms for follow up and investigation.
- • Attend regular meetings on QA issues that may arise.
- • Liaise closely with CMT Management on QA issues, rectifying problems at the source in a timeous manner.
- Keep management fully informed on all QA matters.
Samples Preparation and QA
- • Close collaboration with the relevant production team regarding trims required.
- • Close collaboration with marker makers for marker preparation.
- • Delivery of sample items for manufacture as and when required.
- • Work closely with CMT’s on sample specs, production and completion.
- • Ensure that samples are timeously completed and according to required spec.
- • Return completed samples to head office for onward delivery to customer.
General
- • Maintain and store all relevant files.
- • Maintain company vehicle in a clean and respectable condition ensuring routine inspections are completed and regular service intervals are adhered to, and fuel receipts submitted monthly.
- • Perform other duties in accordance with operational requirements from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience Required
• Grade 12 / Matric / Senior Certificate (required)
